Description
Hangzhou Ever-Power Sprocket Co., Ltd.
Equipment OEMs that specify ANSI 80 SS sprockets face a common post-sales problem: the machine ships to a plant in Southeast Asia or South America, and five years later the maintenance team needs a replacement sprocket that matches the original specification exactly — in material grade, bore dimensions, and tooth profile — from a supplier who can deliver within the turnaround window.
The After-Sales Supply Problem for Large-Pitch SS Sprockets
A 1-inch pitch stainless steel sprocket is not a commodity item. When an OEM installs ANSI 80 SS sprockets in a machine and that machine operates for 10 years in a paper mill in Finland or a fish-processing plant in Chile, every future replacement order needs to match the original: same grade (304 or 316), same tooth count, same bore and keyway dimensions, same tolerance class. If the original supplier is no longer reachable, or has changed their part number structure, or requires a 6-month minimum order quantity, the plant maintenance team is facing an unplanned engineering problem during a planned shutdown. Hangzhou Ever-Power supports OEM after-sales programmes with consistent product numbers, consistent documentation, and direct factory supply capability — meaning that a replacement sprocket ordered 8 years after the original machine build can be produced to the same specification, with the same material traceability, shipped directly to the plant.

What ‘Class A Precision’ Actually Means at Large Pitch
ANSI B29.1 Class A is the tightest tolerance class for roller chain sprockets. At the #80 pitch scale, holding Class A requires more than just accurate machining — it requires controlling pitch accumulation error across all teeth. A single tooth with a 0.03 mm angular position error multiplied across 48 teeth produces an accumulated pitch error that affects chain engagement at every tooth. Our production controls this through:
Hobbing cutters are assigned to pitch size and not shared across different pitch families. Tool wear does not degrade profiles across orders.
Hobbing machine indexing accuracy verified by laser ball-bar measurement every quarter. Calibration records retained.
Every sprocket measured on CMM before release — no sampling. Pitch diameter, bore, and keyway recorded against spec.
Each sprocket tracked from billet heat number through to finished-part inspection record — complete chain of custody in the shipment documentation.

The OEM After-Sales Support Model
We support equipment manufacturers in two ways that are not mutually exclusive. First, direct OEM supply: you procure replacement sprockets through us and distribute through your own after-sales channel, maintaining consistent pricing and documentation control. Second, where you agree to it, end-customers can order replacements directly from us using the OEM part number on record — we produce to the same specification and documentation as the original machine build and ship directly to the plant. This reduces your after-sales logistics burden and ensures the end-customer gets a consistent product without routing through multiple intermediaries. Both models are supported; discuss your preference at the initial qualification stage.

Drive Components for Complete System Supply

Supply the complete stainless steel sprocket drive system from one source with one quality standard:
- ANSI 80 SS Roller Chain — 304 and 316, single and duplex, MTR-documented
- 80H Heavy Series SS Chain — for drives at or near peak tension
- QD and SDS Taper Bushing Sets — for planned maintenance changeout
- Split SS Sprockets — for mid-shaft retrofit installation where shaft removal is impractical
- OEM Part Number Filing — your part numbers stored on file for consistent repeat orders
Customer Reviews
“We specify Ever-Power #80 SS sprockets on our paper mill conveyor systems. Plants in Finland, Chile, and Indonesia can all order replacements directly from Ever-Power using our part numbers — consistent quality, consistent documentation worldwide.”
“Three consecutive orders, all within Class A tolerance, all with matching production traveller documentation. Batch-to-batch consistency has been excellent. Our metrology lab verifies every order: zero non-conformances.”
“The production traveller format is exactly what our maintenance management system needs for component traceability. Quality is consistent. Longer lead time on large tooth counts (40T+) is the main area for improvement.”
